Introduction

The STS (Standard Transfer Specification) prepaid solution is based on the international IEC 62055-41/51 standard. It enables cardless recharging through a 20-digit encrypted Token code. Users purchase water via electronic payment (such as mobile payment or online banking), receive a Token code, and input it into the meter terminal. The meter decrypts and verifies the Token before updating the balance and opening the valve. The STS protocol ensures secure data transmission and supports multiple communication methods (LoRa, Bluetooth, infrared), making it suitable for complex network environments.

Work Process

Managers set user account information in software
Users recharge at the water vending office
To provide operator meter ID number (ID number printed on the water meter)
Tell the operator how much you want to buy and prepay
On the receipt, you can get a printed TOKEN "20 (Digits)"
Input 20 digits TOKEN into CIU, then you can continue use the water
