With the mobile wireless M-Bus radio system from Welle Digital, you can conveniently perform remote reading of
energy meters using the walk-by or drive-by method. This eliminates the need for scheduled appointments or
on-site inspections, while also providing flexibility in meter readout intervals.
The wireless M-Bus radio system is based on the European OMS (Open Metering System) standard. This enables
seamless integration of OMS-compliant meters from various manufacturers into the radio system, allowing for

The wireless M-Bus system securely transmits data
In the context of remote readout using the wireless M-Bus radio system, the measuring devices autonomously transmit a data protocol at predefined intervals. To ensure data security, the radio protocols are encrypted in compliance with the latest technological standards.
The data is processed and stored using the radio receiver MinoConnectRadio, along with a handheld device or tablet PC equipped with reading software. The collected consumption data and related meter parameters are then transferred to a company PC, where they become available for billing purposes or energy monitoring.
